Radiant, fearless, and unapologetically versatile, lyric coloratura soprano Anne Elizabeth brings a bold artistic edge to every role she touches. With a warm timbre, razor-sharp coloratura, and a stage presence that crackles with emotion, she crafts performances that linger.

The 2025/26 season opened with Anne performing arias by Mozart and Haydn alongside the Bad Reichenhaller Philharmonie under the direction of Daniel Spaw. She then embarked on a New Year’s tour with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie – during which her Traviata received special praise from the press. She was also invited to perform at the Ball der Sterne with the Münchner Symphoniker. A further collaboration with Daniel Spaw brings her in a concert series of British and American repertoire with the Jenaer Philharmonie. Most recently, she stepped in at short notice to sing the role of Aspasia in the Baroque opera Alcibiades at Theater Heidelberg, where critics noted her “warm soprano and radiant top notes.”
In the 2024/25 season, Anne Elizabeth made her role and house debut as the Prima Donna in Donizetti’s Viva la Mammaat Oper Halle – a turbulent role that highlighted both her comedic flair and technical confidence, even in the most demanding passages. She also appeared in an Italian opera gala with the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra under Nicholas Milton and made her debut at Kiel Opera House in two contrasting roles: as the mischievous Adele in Die Fledermaus and as the Ghost of the Present in Elena Kats-Chernin’s A Christmas Carol. In the summer, she appeared at the Wismar Festival as Lucy in Kurt Weill’s The Threepenny Opera, a role traditionally reserved for actors, where she impressed with strong stage presence and emotional immediacy.

Recent operatic highlights include Olympia in Les contes d’Hoffmann (Theater Delphi Berlin), Queen of the Night (Kammeroper Köln), and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte, Allee Theater Hamburg). Other standout roles include Morgana (Alcina), Eurydice (Orpheus in the Underworld), and Adele (Die Fledermaus) with Hamburger Kammeroper.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Anne earned her Bachelor of Music with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University and her Master’s degree in Voice Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland — one of the world’s leading conservatory programs.
